はてブでEmotional Social Intelligence Prostheticネタが地味に上がっていたので見てみたら、さりげなく謎訳というか珍訳が付いていることに気付く。
この装置は、自閉症の発作症状（Autism Spectrum Condition：ASC）のある人にとって特に有益だ。発作症状のある人は、自分では他人の感情を評価することができない。

conditionという語に惑わされたのか。あるいはspectrum? いずれにせよ、自閉症スペクトラムというそのまんま訳は何故か参考にされなかったように見える。発作症状という語は何処から出てきたのだろうか? 興味は尽きない。

ちなみにASCについては多分以下の文がよく説明している。英語が分からない方向けに説明すると、障害(disorder)という語が気に入らないから避けたというお話。
